Q: What size boxes are the Comfy Sacks shipped?
A: All our products are shipped via FedEx Ground from our factory in Georgia protected in a heavy industrial grade cardboard box. The boxes vary in size according to the size Comfy Sack you purchase (see below). All Comfy Sacks are vacuum compressed in order to reduce shipping costs and make it possible to send products weighing in excess of 150 lbs (8 ft sack). The foam capsule method is used to create boxes that are light enough to be easily managed by FedEx delivery drivers and more importantly our customers. Sizes of products when fully expanded:
After receiving your product, it will take 1-2 weeks for the product to FULLY expand. Feel free to use your product while it is still expanding but realize that the foam must receive oxygen to fully expand. To expedite the process of your bag fully expanding, re-fluff your sack a couple times a day to get oxygen to foam. This will ONLY need to be done for the first week or two because of how compact the foam was for shipping purposes. Also ensure that all large pieces of foam are broken apart which will also speed up the expansion process.

These products are frameless furniture which means there are not rigid corners for measurement. Q: How much time does it take to ship the Comfy Sack?
A: We try our best to get orders shipped out within 5 days of receiving your payment however it sometimes takes up to 8 business days to ship the orders out. (Most orders are shipped out in 2-3 business days) Depending on your location, it will take 2-6 business days from the time it leaves our shipping dock to arrive at your location. One thing we do different than many other companies is that the instant your order is shipped, you will be notified via email that your order has been shipped out. At that time you will be provided with a unique FedEx tracking number that can be used on FedEx.com to track your package. You may also call them at 1-800-GO-FEDEX to track your package using your tracking number provided. If there are any issues with the delivery of your Comfy Sack, you will be notified immediately by FedEx to get the problem resolved and get your product to you.
Q: How much does it cost for shipping and handling?
A: Pricing for the shipping options are calculated in real-time from FedEx using your address and shipment weight. Simply enter in your zip code in the field provided on each product page to get the real time shipping rate on your package. Note that some companies may offer may offer 'free' shipping however the reality is that 'free' shipping does not really exist. Before you choose a company based on the shipping cost, make sure you are purchasing a GREAT quality product for a fair price. We are not the cheapest on the market however we are the BEST. While other companies build the cost of shipping into their product, we charge you exactly what Fedex charges for delivery.
Q: Can I track my order when it's on the way to me?
A: Your order can be tracked both online and on the phone. To make sure you receive your tracking numbers, please ensure that you input your correct e-mail address when checking out. This email address will be used by FedEx's online shipping system which will notify you when we ship your order. You will be provided with a tracking number via e-mail from FedEx giving you detailed tracking information including the expected delivery date. Sometimes your email filters can trap these messages so if you feel that your item has already been shipped and have not received a tracking number, please send an email to and include your order number provided on your invoice.
The FedEx system gives you real time information on your shipment. Please note this e-mail is not sent to you until several hours after the package leaves our facility (that evening). It may take up to a day for FedEx to have the tracking number into their system so please give it a day before contacting us about the tracking numbers not working correctly.
Q: What's the difference between a Comfy Sack and a Bean Bag Chair?
A: Often times people don’t know what to call these huge poofy looking bean bag chairs...but they are ANYTHING BUT a normal bean bag! Many people have been to the mall and have visited the stores that sell a competing product to our called Love Sacs * but they still aren't sure exactly what they are. You may ask yourself, are these just very large bean bag chairs at a much higher cost???? To help you understand, we will point out the three main differences between Comfy Sacks, bean bags and other foam bag chairs on the market. The answers are threefold:
Foam:
Foam quality, volume, and mixture is the reason for Comfy Sacks extreme comfort and long lasting durability! Comfy Sacks are made with a special blend of chopped polyurethane foam instead of the hard styro-foam beads found in bean bag chairs. We use high quality furniture grade foam that is the most comfortable foam on the market. We have just the right mix of heavy and light foam to provide you with the most comfortable sack available. It's firm enough to hold you in the perfect position, but not so hard that it is lumpy and overly rigid. All of our current competitors use lower quality foam and as a result you will find large chunks of rock hard foam inside the sack. Something some customers find pretty interesting is that foam is created in a similiar process to baking bread. Most companies take this 'loaf' of foam and just chop the foam up and use 100% of what was 'cooked'. This is to reduce foam costs and also labor costs of separating the bad foam (hard crusty foam) from the GOOD foam (ultra soft Comfy foam).
At Comfy Sacks, the foam 'crust' is pitched and only the soft/comfy foam is retained and used. This is one of the most common complaints that people have when they purchase our competitor's bags and later switch to the Comfy Sack. They pay $550 for an overpriced 6 foot sack at the mall, take it home and discover that as they are breaking up the foam, they come across very hard chunks of foam. You will never find hard chunks of foam in a Comfy Sack and will only find our patent pending Comfy foam. One other great thing about the Comfy foam is that it has a 'memory' which means it always goes back to its original shape. Styrofoam beads compress over time and will also leak out of the bag resulting a product that is useless after only several months.
Size:
The sheer size of our products dwarfs any bean bag on the market. Our sizes start out at 3.5 foot (about the size of a standard bean bag on the market) and goes up to the HUGE 8 foot bag (enough to fit a family of 5). The 3.5 foot sack is great for children and small adults and is perfect for playing video games or watching some Baby Einstein. Micro Suede is the current rage in upscale upholstery. Micro Suede has taken the furniture industry by storm for its durability, feel and leather-like visual characteristics. Made of soft, machine washable polyester for long life and relaxed comfort. This is our most popular selling material because it is both soft and very durable. Many modern couches you see are covered with Micro Suede. The fabric is great looking and can be washed in the washing machine.
Pebble is our most unique and expensive upholstery fabric offered. This fabric is slightly higher in price as compared to our other fabrics but for good reason. Pebble perfectly makes a statement and brightens up every room with a modern mosaic pattern available in a palette of high style colors. Fabric 100% nylon, machine washable. Apple Computer chose to outfit their Corporate Headquarters in California with this fabric. Ironically they chose Apple Pebble as their fabric of choice. Coincidence? Maybe.
Micro Fiber is a very soft and lush fabric. Many people would compare it to velvet because of its soft feel. Micro Fiber is our most durable fabric we offer and it washes like steel but remains ultra soft after years of abuse. This cover is 100% stain resistant nylon which is great people with children and pets. Because this fabric is 100% nylon, it is also very water resistant which is why many night clubs and bars choose to go with this fabric. As will ALL our fabrics, this fabric is machine washable.
Twill is a cotton fabric used in clothing such as Khaki pants. Our twill is furniture grade twill and is very soft while still be ultra durable. Twill is a great fabric for small kids that are very rough and tough on the Comfy Sack. It is our lowest priced material however you can be assured that you are getting a great quality product despite the lower cost. As will ALL our fabrics, this fabric is machine washable.
Furry is our newest fabric we now offer. We would compare it to the fur of a baby Chinchilla . It is the softest fabric we offer and is very popular among the teenage crowd. The fabric is synthetic and NOT real animal fur. Nothing beats snuggling up on a cold winter day on your Furry Comfy Sack! All your friends will be Jealous. Crease is our short nap micro fiber and has the look of distressed leather with the feeling of suede. Named for its creased, textured, subtle worn-in finish, Crease will no disappoint even the most discriminating leather enthusiast. Q: When will I see the credit card charge on my statement?
A: Your credit card is charged when your Comfy Sack order is successfully processed. The item will list 'Comfy Sacks LLC' next to the credit card charge to easily identify your purchase.
Q: How are credit cards processed on comfysacks.com?
A: Online shopping at Comfy Sacks is very secure and we take every precaution to protect your privacy. Comfy Sacks has implemented the latest in online security procedures to protect your information. All information that you provide will be automatically encrypted using 128 bit encryption, for security while using the following browsers: Mozilla Firefox, IE 3.0 addition or higher, AOL 3.0 or higher or Netscape 2.0 or higher. Q: Do you have a refund/exchange policy?
A: Due to the large size of these products (20-150 lbs) refunds for opened products are slightly more complex as opposed to returning an iPod or DVD. If the outer cover is damaged due to a manufacturing defect, a new cover will be sent via Fed Ex Ground. We take a lot of care in manufacturing and shipping our products and rarely have any products returned to us. All returned products that are NOT defective will incur a 25% restocking fee and the original shipping cost will not be refunded. You will need to arrange shipping back to our manufacturing facility with the courier of your choice. In addition, we are not able to accept used product for a return.

We offer the softest and most durable fabrics on the market. Instead of just taking our word for it, we will PROVE it to you by sending you samples of the fabrics you are interested in.
* If you are worried about the size of our Comfy Sacks being an issue, the best way to figure out if you can fit one of our Comfy Sacks in your house or apartment is to put some masking tape on the floor outlining the sack. For the circular sacks make a circle using the dimensions stated and allow for an extra 8 inches or so around the circle. The 7.5 foot lounger takes up the same amount of space as a standard sofa and the 6 ft lounger takes up about the same amount of space as a loveseat.
Q: What kind of warranty does a Comfy Sack come with?
A: All Comfy Sacks come with a ONE year warranty on all seams on both the cover and liner. This is one of the BEST warranties offered throughout the whole foam bag chair industry. Many other companies don’t offer any warranties or offer a VERY LIMITED warranty which requires that you have all the original packaging and requires you to send the product back to be inspected before fixing the issue. We want customers to be confident that if something happens to their Comfy Sack, they are covered. Comfy Sacks are manufactured to last a lifetime and something that distinguishes a Comfy Sack from any other foam bag chair on the market is the QUALITY! All seams are double stitched to ensure a very strong seam that won't rip or tear. Our products have been tested with the roughest children and teens and we very rarely have a cover that needs to be replaced. However, on the rare occasion that the cover does tear at the seam, the cover will be repaired free of charge or a new cover will be sent to replace it. Our products very rarely fail however customers often are amazed at how quickly we do resolve issues when they do arise.
Q: Are Comfy Sacks washable?
A: Another great feature you will get with EVERY Comfy Sack is a inner liner (which come with a security BREAK AWAY zipper.) The zipper on the liner is designed to break away when twisted to prevent small children or pets from gaining access to the foam. While some competitors cut costs and don’t include a liner, and others offer it as an expensive option, Comfy Sacks ships every sack with it's own liner. The liner enables you to simply unzip the outer cover and put it in the washing machine. All the outer covers can be machine washed in cold water. The important thing when washing your cover is to make sure you completely re-zip the cover closed before putting it into the washing machine. This is to ensure nothing gets caught in the washing machine which could result in damage to your cover. It is recommended that you air dry the covers however they can also be put in the dryer and tumble dried on low. (Again, make sure to completely zip your cover up before putting in the washing machine or dryer)
Q: I am not able to add anything to my shopping cart and it keeps telling me my cart is empty. What do I do?
A: Our shopping cart uses something called cookies to remember what items you add to your cart while you shop on our website. Other stores such as Amazon.com, Buy.com and BestBuy.com use the same technology. Sometimes the computer gets confused and does not allow you to add items to your shopping cart. To remedy this you simply go to your options and clear your cookies which are temporary internet files that are usually deleted on a daily basis. Many web browsers do this automatically as a security precaution however if your browser does not do this automatically, it is a very simple process and takes about 20 seconds.
