Comfy Sacks Reaches New Heights At Cusco & Manchu Picchu

For the people of Cusco, Peru, their Festival of the Sun (Inti Raymi) is the biggest celebration of the year. A hiking team of three Comfy Sacks employees, horsemen and guides arrived just in time to let the townspeople try out the comfortable bean bag chairs. The kids of Cusco, home of the Incas, loved hanging out in the Comfy Sacks and persuaded others (including the local police!) to join in the fun. The word quickly spread and the evidence that Comfy Sacks were indeed the most comfortable chair in the world was mounting.

Moving on with a 7-day hike on the Salkantay trail to Manchu Picchu, it took the help of porters and horsemen to cross the trail and scale a 16,700 foot peak to reach the legendary city of Manchu Picchu with Comfy Sacks in tow. At each stop along the way, the Comfy Sacks served as a perfect place for tired hikers to kick back and relax. The employees of Llama Path (the cooks, porters and horsemen) were able to enjoy the Comfy Sacks after a hard days work.

Knowing that the comfortable bean bags would be there for them at the end of each day’s 7-hour hike, they pushed on with enthusiasm and vigor. After four more days in the Andes, on the renowned Inca trail to Manchu Picchu, the hiking party and Comfy Sacks reached the legendary city. To finish off the monumental trip, the CEO of Comfy Sacks (Tyler Shearburn) shot some pictures and video of the product at Manchu Picchu to share with everyone.

For the hikers, guides and residents of the Peruvian cities of Cusco and Manchu Picchu, the conclusion was that the Comfy Sack was indeed the most comfortable chair in Peru. Comfy Sacks would also like to thank the people of Peru for being such warm and gracious hosts — they are truly some of the nicest people on this earth. Next destination….Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa.

No piece of furniture says comfort like a bean bag chair, and no college dorm would be complete without one. At some time during the day, or night, the discerning student will have a difficult decision to make. The decision as to whether to retire to their bed, or to remain in their comfy cozy bean bag chair. Now that’s a hard choice to have to make. Assembling Your Comfy Sacks Bean Bag Chair

Once one of our Comfy Sacks bean bag chairs is delivered to your door, you may ask yourself how the contents of the box is going to turn into your new beanbag chair. Well, with these simple and easy steps you’ll be able to start relaxing in your new Comfy Sack in no time.

First: You’ll want to make sure to unpack the box. Be sure to remove everything. Inside you should fine the cover, liner, and capsules containing our special Comfy Sacks foam.

Then: Open the package for the liner and spread it along the floor preferably in the room where your bean bag chair is going to stay. Place the capsules into the liner.

Then: Close the liner using the zipper. Place the cover around the bean bag chair and start breaking up the foam in the liner. You should not have to use too much force and be careful not to rip the liner.

COMFY TIP: Many customers have found it very helpful to let the foam pods sit (with the plastic removed) inside the liner for a full day without breaking up the foam. This allows the foam some time to start the expansion process on its own so YOU don’t have to do all the work!

Then: Over the next few days the bean bag chair will begin to grow as oxygen get in between all of the pieces of foam. This is a natural part of the process and is what helps to make our Comfy Sacks so comfortable. This could take up to a week, but if you want to speed the process up feel free to rotate and fluff the sack a couple times a day for the first week to get oxygen to the foam which allows it to expand.
