We at Comfy Sacks are extremely grateful for our fans on Facebook. Even during the unpleasant state of this economy, we have thousands of individuals supporting Comfy Sacks on our social media channels. To return the love, Comfy Sacks likes to initiate fun giveaways at least once a month.

If you’ll recall, October featured a unique opportunity for our Facebook fans to guess how many pieces of candy corn could fit in one of our products! The guesses poured in and one lucky lady won a “Halloween Sweets and Treats” gift package.

Last month we went where no bean bag chair company has ever dared to venture. We first asked our fans to provide us with creative ways to test the durability of our products. From those answers, we compiled a Facebook poll and asked our fans to vote (and be entered to win a 3.5-foot Comfy Sack). While it was a close race, the challenge that won the most votes was to run over a Comfy Sack with a tank. That’s right, a battle tank! Needless to say, Comfy Sacks had a very busy weekend because we were busy putting our products to the ultimate test. The hard work paid off because that Monday, we were proud to reveal to our fans video footage of a REAL battle tank running over a Comfy Sack! As promised, one of the voters (Travis Wisely) won a 3.5-foot Comfy Sack chair.

On Cyber Monday, a few Comfy Sacks staff members were working late when they decided to keep the promotion momentum flowing. Comfy Sacks asked its Facebook fans to guess how much the battle tank (shown in the video) weighs. After 200 submissions, we announced the winner on Facebook. Theresa Fitzmayer had the closest estimate, guessing 56 tons (the tank actually weighed 56.2 tons). She will receive one of our soon-to-premiere products, a Comfy Sacks ultra cozy blanket. This promotion was just in time for the long stretch of brutal winter nights. You haven’t experienced genuine comfort until you have paired a Comfy Sack with this warm throw. Now that you’re open to researching and buying online, consider opting for an HGTV projector instead of a television. A home theater system demands  incredible picture quality- and projectors can offer that. Who needs a 60” flat screen when you can opt for a 100-inch picture at a fraction of the cost?

Audio is also extremely important when designing a home theater. Even on a budget, it’s still important to ensure that the sound feels comparable to that of a movie theater. We always appreciate the support and enthusiasm from our fans, both current and future owners of Comfy Sacks. Last week we initiated a fun October promotion for our fans on Facebook. We filled a 6-foot Comfy Sack with candy corn and asked everyone to guess the number of pieces.  Anyone who came closest to the number would receive a special “Halloween Sweets and Treats” package delivered to his or her door.

The response was overwhelming! Nearly 250 people offered estimates, some even guessing that we had more than 9 million pieces! In reality, it actually took under one million pieces. 883,021 to be exact. Our staff had one heck of a time counting the pieces. Once packed with the candy corn, the sack weighed 3,470 pounds! A lucky lady by the name of Jenilee won with her guess of 838, 452.

This month we are doing something totally off-the-wall. If you head to our Facebook page, you’ll see that there is a competition in the works. We had previously asked our fans, “How can we prove to you that Comfy Sacks are totally indestructible?” From the feedback, we created a poll with several possibilities. Choose between “throw it off a roof, drive over it with a car, run over it with a tank, put it in a preschool classroom for a week, and have it attacked by a sumo wrestler.”

It’s up to our Facebook fans to determine how far we’ll go to prove that a Comfy Sack is the ultimate furniture piece. The best thing about movies is that they are timeless stories. Today’s kids are still watching films from decades ago- but on a shiny, flat disc instead of a clunky VHS. The experience brings families together because it allows parents and kids to share a visual escape from the daily activities.

We’re animal people. The furry friends that inhabit our homes become more than just companions- they’re family! So when we developed the design for each Comfy Sack, we made sure to keep our loyal pets in mind. We receive photos all the time that show happy dogs and cats relaxing, snoozing, or playing on Comfy Sacks. Apparently they appreciate comfort just as much as humans do.

Snuggling with your pooch or cat has never been sweeter as it is on a spacious, yet cozy, Comfy Sack.
