Since starting this campaign in early January donating a portion of our sales to the victims in Haiti, $1260 has been raised and was donated to the Clinton-Bush Haiti Fund! We thought we would get the money to the people of Haiti as quickly as possible instead of wait until the end of the month.

Thanks for your ongoing support and we also appreciate the great feedback we have received from many of our customers. If you would like to donate money in addition to the $20 we are giving for each order, please donate directly to the organization of your choice. (Several people have contacted us about donating for the cause and they can do that directly through the Clinton-Bush Haiti fund http://clintonbushhaitifund.org/ There are many good organizations to choose from but make sure you do your research.

At Comfy Sacks many of our employees have expressed interest in helping the people of Haiti after this horrible disaster that literally rocked their nation. While we thought it would be great to fly a Boeing 747 full of 6 foot sacks down to Haiti to provide a place for people to rest and sleep, we believe the money would be much better spent on the food and water they so desperately need.

In addition to employees making personal donations on their own behalf, for the months of January and February Comfy Sacks will donate $20 for every order placed. (both online and phone orders) After a lot of research we chose to donate to the Clinton-Bush Haiti Fund because we believe this to be the fund that provides almost 100% of the money directly to the people of Haiti.
