Your Comfy Sack™ will arrive via FedEx ground in a cardboard box or several cardboard boxes depending on the size of your product. (Six foot Comfy Sack shown in pictures which uses 3 pods of 25 lb foam) 1. Remove the cover, liner and foam capsules from the box.Your liner and cover will come in a clear plastic bag. Your foam will come in capsules of 25 and 16 lbs. To see how many capsules you will receive, check the chart below. 2. Place the foam capsules inside the liner.Remove the foam capsules and place inside your liner. (not the outer cover) Cut the plastic capsules by using a sharp utility knife. Remove the foam from the capsules which will start to expand when you remove the plastic wrap and tape. Quickly remove the plastic and zip the liner closed. ***Be sure NOT to cut the liner while opening the foam capsules 3. Massage and break apart the foam inside the linerKeep the liner closed while you break apart the large chunks of foam. Massage the foam to ensure all large chunks are completely broken apart. Take your designer cover and match the seams of the cover and the liner. It will take several days to a full week for your Comfy Sack to expand to it's full size. It will continue to grow over the next couple days and if you would like to expedite the process simply rotate and fluff the sack a couple times a day for the first week to get oxygen to the foam which allows it to expand. COMFY TIP: Many customers have found it very helpful to allow the unwrapped foam to sit inside the ZIPPED UP liner for several hours prior to breaking the foam apart. This allows the foam some time to start the expansion process on it's own so YOU don't have do all the work! Depending on how long the foam has been compressed in it's 'podlike' shape, the foam can be very easy to slightly difficult to break apart. The key is to get ALL the foam broken apart and let oxygen do the rest of the work. To expedite the expansion process, make sure the foam is broken down into golf ball size pieces and for the first week make sure to rotate and fluff once or twice a day. While this process may sound complicated, it is both fun and not very difficult to do. Above all enjoy your Comfy Sack! Below is a guide to show you how much foam you will receive with your Comfy Sacks. All our foam comes in 25 lb or 16 lbs capsules. We have created a chart so you can quickly see how many capsules you will receive with each product. Simply place the capsules inside the liner, open the capsules inside the liner and close the liner. After the liner is closed, massage the foam to break up large chunks that have compacted together from our vacuum packing process. Allow up to 7 days for the foam to fully expand and pretty soon you will be ready to jump and dive into your Comfy Sack! |
